Call the target
The coach calls a colour or position before feeding the ball, or the player selects a target in advance.
Track progress
Score direct hits, clips and accurate landings to make improvement easy to measure.

Drill Ideas

Down-the-line accuracyPut one cone close to each far corner and alternate forehand and backhand drives down the line.
Elbow and middle placementPosition a cone around the centre line to practise finding the opponent’s crossover point.
Serve placement challengeUse separate targets for short, half-long and deep serves.
Random colour drillSpread different colours across the far end and have the coach call the next target during the rally.

🏓 Blades, rubbers & custom bats: Please check your equipment before cutting, gluing, assembling or using it. Rubbers that have been cut or glued, and equipment that has been altered or used, may not be eligible for a standard change-of-mind return. Opened glues, cleaners and other liquids may also be excluded.
