5+2 Carbon Construction: What Does It Change?

The blade combines five wood plies with two carbon layers. Compared with a more flexible all-wood beginner bat, this construction is intended to provide a stiffer, quicker response and a larger effective sweet spot. For an attacking player, that translates into easier access to pace and a more stable response when accelerating through drives, loops and smashes.

Stiga S5 2.0 mm Rubber

The bat comes assembled with Stiga S5 pimples-in rubber and 2.0 mm sponge. It is a performance-oriented smooth-rubber setup that complements the carbon blade's attacking character and gives players the grip and sponge depth needed to generate strong topspin.

Importantly, the rubbers can be replaced. That gives the bat a longer upgrade path than a basic recreational racket: when the original coverings wear or your preferences change, you can fit replacement rubbers rather than necessarily replacing the entire bat.
