Carbon Technology & Enlarged Sweet Spot

The two carbon layers reinforce the blade and enlarge the effective sweet spot. This helps produce a more consistent response when the ball is struck slightly away from the centre of the bat, while also contributing to the speed and stability expected from an offensive carbon setup.

Why does the sweet spot matter?

A larger effective sweet spot gives you a greater area of the blade from which you can produce a strong, consistent shot. This is particularly useful during fast rallies when perfect contact with the centre of the bat isn't always possible.

Stiga S5 2.0mm Rubber

The bat comes ready to play with Stiga S5 pimples-in rubber and a 2.0mm sponge. The setup is designed around offensive performance, providing the grip and sponge response needed to generate high levels of speed and spin.

Choose the Correct Handle

The Stiga Professional 6 Star Carbon is available with two different handle styles. Choosing the correct version is important because the handles are designed for completely different table tennis grip techniques.

Flared Handle (FL) – Standard Shakehand Grip
Choose the FL version if you hold your bat using the conventional shakehand grip. This is the standard handle used by most recreational, club and competitive players.

Penhold – Chinese Short Handle Grip
Choose the Penhold version only if you specifically play using a Chinese penhold grip. The handle is deliberately shorter than the standard FL version.

Not sure which handle you need?
If you use the normal shakehand grip, choose Flared Handle (FL). Choose Penhold only if you specifically use a Chinese penhold grip.
