Haifu Water-Based White Table Tennis Rubber Glue is a dedicated adhesive for attaching table tennis rubber to your blade. This is glue, not rubber booster: its job is to create an even bond between blade and rubber without deliberately changing the playing characteristics of the sponge.

Glue vs Booster: What's the Difference?

Rubber glue bonds the rubber to the blade. Rubber booster is applied to the sponge before gluing to change its elasticity and playing response. They are different products and should not be confused.

How to Glue a Table Tennis Rubber

Clean the blade and spongeRemove loose old glue and make sure both surfaces are clean, dry and free from debris.

Apply a thin layer to the rubber spongeSpread the glue evenly across the entire sponge, including the edges. Avoid thick pools of adhesive.

Apply a thin layer to the bladeSpread an even coat over the blade face where the rubber will be fitted.

Allow both surfaces to dryWait until the white water-based glue becomes transparent/clear before bringing the two surfaces together.

Align and roll the rubber onto the bladeStart near the handle, align carefully, then press or roll the sheet progressively onto the blade to produce an even bond.

Trim the rubberOnce securely attached, carefully trim around the blade with suitable scissors or a sharp cutting tool.

Can I Use It After Boosting?

Yes—the adhesive and booster perform separate jobs. A boosted rubber still requires glue before it can be attached to the blade. If a rubber has been treated, allow that preparation process to finish and the sponge to settle before applying your water-based glue.

Is Water-Based Table Tennis Glue Legal?

Competition note: using adhesive to attach an authorised racket covering is part of normal racket assembly. ITTF rules include the adhesive within the permitted total covering thickness. What is prohibited is post-factory treatment of the racket covering that changes its properties, such as boosting. Players remain responsible for ensuring the finished racket—including rubber and adhesive thickness—meets the rules.
