Haifu Whale II is a traditional speed glue developed for players seeking added rubber flexibility, elasticity and speed-glue feel. Particularly relevant to harder Chinese-style sponges, it has medium adhesive strength rather than the firm bond of a conventional water-based mounting glue.

⚠ IMPORTANT — VOC / COMPETITION WARNING

This traditional speed glue contains volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It is not suitable for ITTF-sanctioned competition use or racket-control testing. Use only in a well-ventilated area, away from flames, heat and ignition sources; avoid breathing vapour or skin contact. Follow the bottle's safety instructions. For competition equipment, choose a VOC-free water-based adhesive such as DHS No.15.

  • Intended to improve ball speed and rubber flexibility.
  • Elasticity may build with repeated gluing.
  • Medium adhesive strength; weaker than some dedicated mounting adhesives.
  • Application brush attached to lid.
  • Choose the 120ml or 260ml variant.

How to apply

  1. Shake bottle before use. Work in a ventilated area away from flames and heat.
  2. Brush evenly in a single direction over the blade and rubber sponge.
  3. Allow both coats to air-dry until transparent.
  4. Align and roll the rubber gently onto the blade.
  5. Clean the brush promptly after use according to label directions.
First-time mounting: Whale II's medium bond can be insufficient on its own. See Haifu Dolphin for traditional speed-glue applications or DHS No.15 for VOC-free mounting. Do not layer different adhesive formulas unless confirmed compatible by their manufacturers.

Liquid glue can require separate shipping and a longer transit route.

🏓 Blades, rubbers & custom bats: Please check your equipment before cutting, gluing, assembling or using it. Rubbers that have been cut or glued, and equipment that has been altered or used, may not be eligible for a standard change-of-mind return. Opened glues, cleaners and other liquids may also be excluded.
