At approximately 90g, the V9 has a more substantial feel than ultra-light balsa blades while remaining within a typical range for an offensive carbon blade. The approximately 5.5–5.8mm thickness keeps the construction relatively compact despite its nine total layers.

This is not a blade we would normally recommend to a beginner looking for maximum forgiveness. Its high speed and hard outer surface are better suited to players with developed stroke mechanics who can consistently control the blade's pace.
